He is a practicing attorney, with emphasis on Securities Law, as well as Banking, Corporate, Finance Law and Mergers and Acquisitions. He has wide experience in the structuring of financing operations, national and international contracts, mediations, bond issuances, tender offers for local and foreign entities, as well as in providing legal advice to banks and private businesses in the country on corporate and regulatory aspects.

He acted as an advisor fon the structuring of the first Tender Offer in El Salvador, as well as to the following tender offers in the banking sector in El Salvador (including the acquisition of two major banks in El Salvador), and for companies in the Electrical and Telecommunications sector.

He participated as advisor for financial conglomerates and actively advises companies in the local financial sector.

He currently acts as advisor for multinational companies in the renewable energy sector, assisting them in public bids of projects for the generation of photovoltaic and hydroelectric energy.

He currently provides tributary legal advise to foreign and national companies that invest in renewable energy in the country.

He provides advice to foreign companies that administer concessions of public services; with emphasis in the participation in public bids or in partially government owned corporations established in the country.

He was a member of the Legal Department of Banco de Desarrollo, now Banco Agricola, until the year 2000. Today, he acts as outside counsel to local banks for in the structuring and execution of credit agreements. He also counsels Salvadoran companies operating in the industrial, financial, agriculture and textile sectors.
